Reconstruction of a single missing tooth with an implant
Reconstruction of a single missing tooth with an implant - a natural solution at Unident Union®
The loss of a single tooth - regardless of its location - is no longer a sentence for the aesthetics of the smile and the comfort of life today.
At the clinic Unident Union® in Wrocław uses dental implants as the most physiological and permanent solution for the reconstruction of a single missing tooth - without grinding the neighbouring teeth, without compromise.
Why replace a single deficiency with an implant?
- You maintain the integrity of the adjacent teeth - no need to grind them for the bridge,
- You avoid bone loss - the implant, as an artificial root, stimulates bone tissue,
- You gain durability for years - a well-placed implant can even last a lifetime,
- You recreate function and aesthetics - exactly as if the tooth had never been lost.
What does implant treatment look like for a single tooth?
1. Digital consultation and diagnosis
- A computed tomography scan (CBCT) is performed,
- We analyse the quantity and quality of the bone, the anatomical conditions, the aesthetics of the smile,
- On this basis, we select the type of implant, its length and diameter,
- We are planning for possible additional procedures - such as bone regeneration.
2. implant insertion
- The procedure takes place under local anaesthesia,
- It is completely painless and minimally invasive,
- It usually lasts 20-30 minutes,
- In many cases, it does not require incisions or stitching,
- The patient leaves the clinic the same day, often with a temporary crown.
What if the tooth is yet to be extracted?
W Unident Union® very often uses a solution that patients appreciate for its time-saving and comfortable treatment - this is immediate implantation, i.e.:
- Implant placement directly after tooth extraction,
- in a single surgical visit: extraction + implantation,
- Often, temporary aesthetic provision (temporary crown) is also possible,
- preserves the natural shape of the gingiva and the emergence profile,
- shortens treatment time and reduces the need for additional bone regeneration.
This is a solution often used in Unident Union, especially in the aesthetic area - as long as the anatomical conditions allow such a procedure to be carried out safely.

What if the tooth was extracted a long time ago?
In such cases, it may be necessary:
- Bone regeneration (augmentation) - if there is a loss in width or height,
- sinus lift - a lift of the sinus floor if an implant is planned in the posterior part of the jaw,
- Gingival reconstruction - to improve aesthetics.
Each solution is selected individually - on the basis of 3D tomography and expert assessment Unident Union.
Zirconia or titanium implant?
W Unident Union® offers patients a choice between:
- titanium implants - classic, proven, perfectly integrated into the bone,
- Zirconia (ceramic) implants - modern, all-white, metal-free,
- ideal for patients with allergies,
- Particularly recommended in the anterior segment, where gingival aesthetics is crucial
How long does the whole process take?
- Implant placement: 1 visit,
- Bone integration (osteointegration): usually 8-12 weeks,
- Final porcelain crown: afterwards - individually designed based on the wax-upu i mock-up.
