Where others would remove teeth, we widen the arches and create a harmonious smile, improving the patient's facial profile. We are known nationwide for non-extraction adult orthodontics - for treatment at the Unident Union clinic® in Wrocław, patients come from all over the country and also from abroad.

The creator of the original method used in our clinic is the dr stom. Iwona Gnach orthodontist with 30 years of experience, specialising in low-friction techniques, member of the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO).

Doct. stom. Iwona Gnach, as the clinic's chief smile designer, has developed proprietary orthodontic techniques that:

  • eliminate the need for tooth extraction,
  • reduce treatment time to a minimum (on average 10-18 months depending on the type of defect),
  • allow for less frequent follow-up visits (every 1.5-3 months),
  • provide patients with the convenience of wearing orthodontic appliances (no cumbersome rings or extra braces on the palate),
  • ultimately produce a perfect aesthetic effect - full profile, no black troughs in the smile, full lips, a younger appearance.

UNIDENT UNION® is campaigning to save healthy teeth removed during orthodontic treatment. The team led by dr. stom. Iwone Gnach in 99.9% does not use extraction methods.

  • We believe that in 99.9% cases tooth extraction worsens the profile, and the aim of our orthodontic therapies is not only to treat malocclusion, but also to preserve or improve the appearance of the patient's entire face. TOOTH EXTRACTION IS DETERMINED SOLELY BY THE PATIENT'S FACIAL PROFILE AND NOT BY THE AMOUNT OF CROWDING OF THE TEETH! 
  • Therefore, at UNIDENT UNION clinic® We do not use classical orthodontic techniques, which include tooth extractions in the treatment plan, in almost every case (removal of premolar teeth in the mandible and maxilla, the so-called upper and lower quadrants). Such extractions applied to a patient with a regular profile always lead to a flattening of the profile, a collapse of the central part of the face, a drooping of the cheek contours and "dark corridors" in the smile (the so-called "narrow smile"), resulting in an unfavourable appearance of the face in a full smile and accelerating the ageing of the facial features in the future. 
  • Even with the greatest crowding, the doctors at UNIDENT UNION® expand the dental arches using self-ligating systems and special orthodontic techniques. We achieve the perfect smile by naturally expanding the alveolar bone, where the teeth align into harmonious arches without the need for extraction. 

The expansion of dental arches and the harmonious alignment of teeth is our way of improving the appearance naturally and permanently without a scalpel. That's why non-extraction orthodontics is one of the pillars of the patented by dr. stom Iwone Gnach DFL - DENTAL FACE LIFT®. 

  • We use orthodontic techniques to expand the bone base.
  • A new, larger bone volume is achieved, which provides better support for the lips and cheeks.

 The new profile also includes associated orthodontics implantology techniques: 

  • fill in missing teeth.
  • augmentation techniques performed in parallel with implant therapy.
  • NOTE: An orthodontist, an implantologist, a periodontist, a prosthodontist and a conservative dentist work together on bite therapy at our clinic. The entire team is available to UNIDENT UNION® patients at all times.

To improve the profile, we combine orthodontics with highly aesthetic prosthetic techniques:

  • we use bonding Intra-orthodontic and composite crowns during treatment, which can eventually be converted to target veneers and ceramic crowns or target composite prosthetics,
  • With their help during orthodontic treatment, we raise the height of the occlusion,
  • interdisciplinary we combine orthodontics with prosthodontics.
