We treat mainly adult patients for whom the achievement of orthodontic treatment results defined as NORMA is not satisfactory, BECAUSE OUR PATIENTS ALWAYS EXPECT A LOT MORE!
Therefore, at UNIDENT UNION, we add the art of design - SMILE DESIGN - to the scientific basis of orthodontics. We are committed to ensuring that orthodontic therapies do more than just treat malocclusion. Our orthodontics simultaneously:
1. perfect the shape of the dental arches, the course of the marginal line, the whites and facial features (MAKROESTHETICS)
2. takes care of the ideal shape and appearance of individual teeth (MIKROESTHETICS).
Macro-aesthetics
At UNIDENT UNION, we use adult orthodontics, which takes into account the patient's expected or ongoing effects of ageing and prevents or slows down their development. Since we have knowledge of the aging process of soft tissues, we plan the therapy in such a way that we can positively influence the facial features in the short and long term with the help of orthodontics.
Our treatment plan incorporates elements of the facial contour assessment concept, such as the position of the chin, lips and lower facial height (LFH, or Lower Facial Height). These are the basic components of so-called MAKROESTHETICS. Their observation allows the planning of orthodontic treatment that aims to achieve the desired change in facial appearance and, in many cases of adult orthodontics, restores a YOUNGER appearance.
In our clinic, we apply new concepts of aesthetic classification and "smile design" concepts, which allow you to achieve ORTHODONTIC treatment results above the standard!
Microaesthetics
As specialists in MIKROESTHETICS, we focus during orthodontic treatment on the details of the shapes, proportions and alignment of individual teeth and entire tooth groups.

- After orthodontic treatment, you may notice that the structure of individual teeth is not perfect. Their shape, which has changed by being stuck in a malocclusion for many years, often requires correction, i.e. so-called RECONTURING.
- Not all of our patients want or can afford porcelain veneers, which provide a spectacular aesthetic effect for many years (Porcelain veneers)
At the clinic, we use a variety of procedures in the final phase of orthodontic treatment to achieve better aesthetics of our patients' smiles. The main ones include:
- Reconstruction of the proximal surfaces to eliminate black triangles at the gums.
- Changing the convexity of the labial surface of the teeth - by means of correcting this convexity, we achieve a more aesthetic appearance of the veneer surface of the anterior teeth.
Contouring of gingival garlands with the diode laser to achieve better white-red aesthetics (teeth, gums). These include:
elimination of a gummy smile (gummy smile),
- elimination of a large disproportion in the height of the gingival course between the individual teeth,
- elimination of unfavourable gingival overgrowth or individual overgrown papillae.
