What is the Flow Injection method?
Flow Injection is a highly predictable method of aesthetic tooth restoration using a liquid composite that is precisely applied to the enamel surface using a specially designed silicone matrix. In contrast to the classic bondingwhich requires manual modelling of the material, Flow Injection is based on the digital design of the new smile and reproduces the ideal shape of the teeth with maximum accuracy.
This method achieves a natural, harmonious smile and, thanks to digital planning, ensures high precision and predictability of results.
How is Flow Injection designed?
The basis of this technique is the digital analysis of the patient's smile and the precise reproduction of ideal tooth shapes based on a customised library of natural teeth. The process involves several key stages:
1. Digital design of a new smile
Based on the scan intraoral (taken with a 3D scanner) we analyse the shape, proportions and aesthetics of the Patient's smile. We then select the most appropriate form of future teeth from a library of natural teeth - this is a database of anatomical shapes that can be individually adapted to the person.
2. Digital wax-up - virtual new smile project
In the next step we prepare wax-up digital, i.e. computer simulation of the future shape of the teeth. This state-of-the-art approach allows full control over the proportions, aesthetics and harmony of the smile. If necessary wax-up digital can be 3D printed, making it possible to test it in the patient's mouth.
3. Mock-up - testing a new smile in the patient's mouth
Thanks to the digital wax-up we can make mock-upThis is a temporary application of the new tooth shape onto the patient's natural enamel. This is an extremely important stage that allows the Patient to assess the appearance before the final composite application.
Who is the Flow Injection method for?

How does the flow injection procedure work?
Step 1: Digital tooth scanning
WWe make 3D scan of the mouth, we analyse the proportions and develop a design for the new smile.
Step 2: Digital wax-up and mock-up
Based on the scan, we design a new tooth shape in the form of a digital wax-up. If there is a need to test it in the mouth, we prepare a physical version by 3D printing, which allows the patient to see the future effect before the composite is applied.
Step 3: Preparation of the silicone matrix
On the basis of the approved design, we make a special silicone matrix that precisely reproduces the planned tooth shape.
Step 4: Application of the flowable composite (Flow Injection)
Using a matrix, we apply the liquid composite in a precise layer, achieving an accurate and lasting aesthetic result without the need for manual modelling.
Step 5: Polymerisation and surface finish
Once the composite has cured, the teeth are polished to a natural shine, making the new smile look fresh and harmonious.
