Immediate implantation

Immediate implantation - removal of a dead tooth and placement of an implant in a single visit. Comfort, safety, predictability at UNIDENT UNION® in Wrocław.

Removal of a diseased, dead tooth and placement of an implant in a single procedure - no waiting for months, no duplicate procedures and no need to go through two healing periods. This is how immediate implantation, one of the most comfortable and predictable solutions in modern dentistry, can be described in a nutshell.

However, the benefits of this procedure do not end with convenience. W UNIDENT UNION® Immediate implantation also means effective elimination of potential chronic inflammation, precise monitoring of the patient's health and full control of the regeneration process.

Two treatments in one - why is it worth it?

Immediate implantation involves placing an implant straight away during the visit at which the tooth is removed. The patient goes through the whole process only once - without the need to plan further interventions, re-anesthesia and convalescence. What's more, we minimise the risk of post-extraction complications, such as dry socket, and maintain the natural architecture of the tissues surrounding the tooth.

This solution allows the patient to avoid a long treatment process spread over stages - extraction, healing, subsequent implant placement. Instead, we complete the entire procedure in a single visit, providing maximum comfort and saving time.

Elimination of chronic infections and monitoring of general health

Teeth removed for implantation are usually dead, root canal-treated teeth that have been present in the mouth for years. In their surroundings, chronic, latent infections can develop - invisible on standard examinations, yet affecting systemic health.

Therefore, immediate implantation in UNIDENT UNION® is not limited to the surgical procedure itself. Each patient is covered by an individual diagnostic protocol, including laboratory tests for inflammatory markers.

Before extraction, we examine, among other things:

  • levels of pro-inflammatory interleukins (IL-6, IL-10),
  • presence of LPS (bacterial lipopolysaccharides),
  • Perox levels (lipid peroxidation products),
  • cytokines associated with chronic inflammation.

In addition, we analyse the patient's lipid metabolism - in particular LDL levels, which have a significant impact on bone regeneration and the implant integration process. We also do not overlook vitamin D3 levels, which are essential for proper calcium metabolism and bone tissue health.

Post-treatment monitoring - reassurance that inflammation has been eliminated

Crucially - the monitoring does not end at the patient's preparation stage. After extraction and immediate implant placement, we repeat the follow-up examinations. We assess whether inflammatory markers have decreased, whether the body has responded positively to the elimination of a potential source of infection.

This approach not only gives the patient the comfort of 'two treatments in one', but also clarity on the impact of chronic inflammation on overall health. If necessary, we implement further supportive measures - appropriate supplementation, diet therapy, immune system support.

Supporting the regeneration process - ozone therapy and PRF

During the procedure itself, we use protocols that further protect the patient and speed up healing. Ozone therapy eliminates bacteria in the bone, and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) stimulates tissue reconstruction and stabilises the implant.

In patients with greater sensitivity or a tendency to inflammatory reactions, we use ceramic implantswhich minimise the risk of allergic reactions and unwanted interactions of the body with the implant material. Good wound care, atraumatic suturing and careful tissue preservation complete the procedure.

Summary:

Immediate implantation is a state-of-the-art procedure that not only combines extraction and implant placement in a single visit, but also offers the possibility of real control over the patient's health. Thanks to the precise monitoring of inflammatory markers - such as interleukins, LPS, Perox, LDL levels or vitamin D3 - both before and after the procedure, we are assured that the patient leaves the clinic not only with a new smile, but also without a chronic outbreak of infection that may have affected their wellbeing and general health for years.
