Types of prosthetic work on implants
Types of prosthetic work on implants
W implantoprosthetics we use various prosthetic solutions, depending on the number of missing teeth, their location and the general condition of the oral cavity.
At the clinic Unident Union® in Wrocław each The restoration is individually digitally designed and fabricated in full ceramic, in accordance with the highest aesthetic and biological standards.
Below are the main types of implant-supported restorations:
a) All-ceramic crowns on implants
This is the most common solution for a single missing tooth.
The all-ceramic crown replicates the natural tooth and is fixed to the implant via an abutment (abutment).
W Unident Union® we only use aesthetically pleasing and biologically safe all-ceramic crowns, usually made of zirconia ceramic or pressed porcelain (e.g. e.max).
Pros:
- perfect aesthetics (even in the smile zone),
- full restoration of bite function,
- no interference with adjacent teeth,
- durability and comfort as with your own teeth.
b) Implant-supported all-ceramic bridges
Used when several teeth are missing next to each other, e.g. 2-4 teeth.
A bridge can be based on two or more implants - for example, when restoring 3 teeth, 2 implants are usually used.
We make all-ceramic bridges, digitally designed and based on individual abutments. This solution maintains aesthetics while providing an ideal balance of chewing forces.
Pros:
- natural appearance,
- full bite stabilisation,
- fewer implants for a larger restoration,
- a precise anatomical fit.
c) Suprastructures prosthetics in edentulous patients
For complete missing teeth in the maxilla or mandible, we use advanced systems based on 4, 5 or 6 implants (All-on-4, All-on-5, All-on-6).
The implants are fitted with a so-called suprastructure Prosthodontic - i.e. a permanent foundation on which we rebuild a full arch of teeth.
Types of work in toothlessness:
- titanium or zirconium beams,
- screw-retained (hybrid) bridges faced with composite or porcelain,
- work with individual crowns cemented onto stumps on a zirconia beam,
- clip-on dentures (e.g. on a bar Doldera) - when the patient cannot have a fixed bridge for various reasons.
All these solutions are designed in Unident Union involving digital planning, scanning and modelling - and are carried out in cooperation with renowned laboratories.
