Dr. stom. Iwona Gnach is the creator of the Unident Union brand and an expert in orthodontics, implantology, dentistry and aesthetic medicine. Her proprietary treatment protocols such as Beauty Orthodontics and Dental Face Lifting® are the result of more than 30 years of experience as a practitioner. She independently founded a medical practice, which she has expanded over the decades and transformed into a holistic medical centre. Today, as a mentor at Unident Union, she heads an interdisciplinary team implementing therapies using all techniques of dentistry integrated with aesthetic medicine.
Brave beginnings and breaking new ground
My professional path began with a principle to which I remain faithful to this day: "Don't do to your patients what you wouldn't do to yourself". That is why I develop minimally invasive treatment protocols without compromising on efficacy. Some people say that I am brave. I think there is something in that. When I learned about self-ligating orthodontic techniques in the 1990s, I travelled to the US to learn at the source the procedures for treating malocclusion without having to extract teeth. I brought innovative solutions to Poland and fought against the then common removal of healthy teeth in classic orthodontics.
I entered a world controlled by men and was one of the first doctors in Poland to gain implant accreditation 25 years ago from the National Association of Dental Implantology and the Ministry of Health, recognised as a confirmation of competence in implantology and implantoprosthetics. I expanded Unident Union, adding further experts and further dental disciplines to the team.
A holistic approach to beauty and health
Over time, I expanded my interests to implantology, orthodontics, aesthetic medicine and prosthodontics, which allowed me to look at the patient holistically. This is how Dental Face Lifting® was born. To confirm my aesthetic competence, I graduated from the elite American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. I believe that the dentist, especially the orthodontist and implantologist, working within the bony support of the face has a huge impact on the profile of the face. Using the DFL® brand on a daily basis, it is easier for me to explain to my patients how dentistry affects the appearance of the entire face, contours the jaw, restores proportion, lightens dark circles under the eyes... And when combined with aesthetic medicine, which is the dot over the i, it produces stable aesthetic results.
Unident Union - more than a clinic
Unident Union is a place that reflects my philosophy of combining dentistry with well-being. In my work with patients, I focus on a comprehensive diagnosis, which often includes supplementation or referral to other expert practitioners. I can see how our therapies have an impact on patients' overall well-being: migraines and muscle tension subside, and hunched shoulders disappear along with complexes. Our proprietary approach, such as Beauty Orthodontics® - First Bond Then Ortho, not only corrects the bite, but also improves the health and comfort of patients' lives from the early stages of treatment.

Today, I mentor Unident Union's interdisciplinary team of top experts - including my daughter, Dr. stom. Monika Olejniczak. Her versatility and fresh perspective allow us to realise spectacular metamorphoses of smiles. Monika works with celebrities as well as patients who are looking for comprehensive care.
